Before heading out to go home on Sunday, we took some time for some family pics!

After telling my Uncle Donald that I'd never shot a gun before, but had always wanted to do it, he decided to show me how to shoot a small shotgun - a 22 gauge, I think it was. I told him that my only two requirements were that 1) I wouldn't be killed and 2) wouldn't be knocked to the ground with the kick back! :-)

Next, he let me try out a pistol! The benefit of when your people live in the country...and own lots of guns! Fun times! :-)

Truck Pullin' Time!!!

Saturday evening, after the homecoming, a bunch of us went down to Byrdstown, TN to watch my cousin, Stacey, compete in a truck pull! We took Cohen last year to watch Stacey pull, and he loved it! This year, we took Addi and Callia along - Addi loved it too, while Callia somehow slept through most of it! :-)

The Homecoming!!!

Everyone got together at the old homeplace (where my grandmother and great-grandmother were born!) on Saturday for the homecoming (what my people call a reunion)! We had a great time, as usual, and the weather was perfect! It was great to see everyone again!

Last Wednesday, Lindsay and I loaded up the kids into the van to head down home to spend some time with our extended family at our annual family reunion in Burkesville, Kentucky!
