Learning from a Civil War soldier how to march with a "stick." When Cohen picked one up and asked what it was, I just said it was a wooden "stick" he could play with. At which point, of course, the soldier came up and said, "Hey kids, you wanna play with a GUN?" [sigh] Oh well, ha ha! :-)

The new Civil War area has a great new play area for the kids, which includes even MORE of Cohen's favorite...trains!

A cool new outside water table where the kids can build and sail boats down the river!

Big Girl Bumbo!!!

Callia wants sooo badly to sit up! Whenever she's reclining, she crunches her little stomach muscles up until she sits up...and then immediately flops forward, of course! So I pulled out the Bumbo seat so she could give it a try! She's still a bit little for it, so you have to sit right beside her and have a pillow behind her head because she still gets "crazy head" - as we refer to her lack of noggin control - every once in a while! But she LOVED sitting up and checkin' out what's going on around the room!
