We bundled up the kids and headed to Broad Ripple on Thanksgiving morning to participate in the Drumstick Dash (a walk/run that benefits Wheeler Mission Ministry in downtown Indy)! Well, Sam participated in the 4.5 mile run, while the kids and I lent him our moral support! Ha ha!

So this is where the kids and I waited for 1 FULL HOUR hoping to see Sam cross the finish line...
...and this is the finish line that Sam actually crossed when he finished the race! Apparently the short course and the long course have different finish lines that "SOMEONE" neglected to tell us, so we were waiting by the wrong one! Grrr! So all of these next pics are ones that I made Sam "redo" since I didn't get any of him actually crossing the finish line! Ha ha! He ran the race in about 37 minutes, so I find it extra amusing that this pic shows him "finishing" in an hour and 38 minutes! Serves him right for giving us the wrong information! :-)
