I Pledge...

A friend of mine posted this video on Facebook and I liked it so well, I decided to post it here too. A word of warning: the video is done by celebrities and, of course, is very pro-Obama. But even if you don't like Obama, the message itself is still a good one. Now granted, I do think it gets a little weird at the end with all of the pledging to serve Barack Obama (I mean I get the point I think they're trying to make...as in coming together, united with our president to serve...but it starts to feel a little "Heil Hilter!" at the end and I can understand how it could make people uncomfortable). And besides that, the only person I pledge to serve is God. Which brings me to something I find quite ironic. There are quite a few conservative folks who are up in arms about this video, saying that it's "radical, leftist propaganda." But what I find funny is that like 99% of the things the people pledge in the video are good, godly things that would advance the Kingdom of God here on earth right now! It seems to me to be a shame to dismiss the whole thing just because you think it gets a little weird at the end! Check it our for yourself.
