Yet Another "This Could Only Happen To Emily" Stories...

So as I was walking into Third Phase on Thursday, I put on one of those zig-zag elastic stretchy circle headbands...you know the ones I mean? Well, to put it on I place it on my forehead first and then push it up into my hair. So I walk into Third Phase and the ladies immediately start giving me weird looks and giggling. My friend Barb says, "Um, Emily, what's going on with your forehead?" Well, I hadn't worn that headband in ages (in fact I had just recently dug it out of a bag with a bunch of pens) so the only thing I can figure is that one of the pens leaked ink all over the headband. I don't know if you can tell from the picture, but I have a very dark blue zig-zag line that stretches completely across my forehead from where I put the headband on! I had to go back out to the van and scrub for a long time to get it off!!!

Skiing At Geist

On Saturday morning we went over to Robyn's parents' house for some water skiing! (Thanks to Robyn's dad for taking us out on the lake!) Here are some pics of some skiing...and crashing! :-)

Sam had some serious "boat envy" after he got to take her for a spin!

Let's Make Some Babies!

Ok, so just for fun, I put Sam's and my pictures into the baby maker app on www.morphthing.com to see what our "morphed" baby would look like!

Much Ado About Nothing!

Thanks to Michele and Russ for inviting us to see Much Ado About Nothing (one of my favorites!) at White River Garden's Shakespeare In The Park! It was a great performance, even if a little soggy!

Em, Sam, Michele & Russ

A very talented quartet of young adults played during the performance!

The amphitheater is in quite a nice setting on White River!

Not a fan of all things Shakespeare, Sam's plays around on his Crackberry during the performance...and in a not so subtle finger gesture, lets me know what he thinks about me taking his picture.

The second half of the play was spent under our umbrella!

This nasty critter took a chunk out of Russ with his little pincers!

Yep, that's Sam holding it...figures!
